Del Fuego Dance Troupe is a coastside Bay area collective which creates powerful performances with fire in motion, fusing tribal bellydance with the ancient art of poi. Still practiced by the Mouri people, poi is a twirling, spinning dance of fire. Del Fuego adds fire-tipped fingers and firebelts which dance in the dark to deep groove drums.
Del Fuego Dance performs for many kinds of events, including indoor parties that feature light poi, and teach workshops for all levels.
